Dr Gudin is an active speaker and advisor whose clinical and research interests include postoperative pain management; opioid abuse, and potential solutions; and increasing clinical awareness of pain assessment and risk management. Dr Gudin is an attending physician in the Department of Anesthesiology at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey, and associate clinical professor of anesthesiology at Rutgers-NJ school of medicine. Board-certified in pain management, addiction medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine, Dr Gudin is also a medical acupuncturist. He serves as co-Editor-at-Large for Practical Pain Management.
Jack Kain, PharmD; Director of Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison
Dr Kain has served as a consultant, clinical toxicologist and medical science liaison for multiple toxicology laboratories. He currently works alongside the Quest Diagnostics’ Drug Monitoring & Toxicology team. Dr Kain has developed solutions that identify and incorporate drug-drug interaction analytics into drug testing platforms. He is a frequent presenter at clinical and academic conferences and also serves on numerous committees, including the Addiction Treatment Advisory Group for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.
Moderating the programs will be Frank Samarro, director of clinical segment marketing for the Quest Diagnostics Drug Monitoring franchise. Frank adds 15 years of professional and clinical marketing and communications experience with considerable experience in the pain management and Medication-Assisted Treatment therapeutic areas.
